Nigeria Workers Day: FG Declares Tuesday 1st As Public Holiday

The Federal Government of Nigeria has declared Tuesday, May 1 as public holiday to celebrate the 2018 Nigeria Workers Day.

According to Vanguard  the disclosure was contained in a statement issued on Friday in Abuja and signed by the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Interior, Dr M. B. Umar.

Furthermore, according to the statement, “the Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Dambazau, who made the declaration on behalf of the Federal Government, congratulated Nigerian workers on their loyalty, strength of character, hard work, sacrifice and dedication to building a greater Nigeria.
