Photos: Half-naked woman caught masturbating in public

Dovie Nickels, 26, was seen performing the sex act on the patio of the JW Marriott Hotel in Austin, Texas, on Tuesday evening. Austin PD officers were called to the hotel after a worker claimed to have seen Nickels ‘holding a silver object’ against her privates ‘with her legs straight up in the air, spread open.’

The woman is accused of continuing to behave indecently after she was arrested with no pants on while performing a solo sex act.
According to court documents seen by the Austin American Statesman, the worker who walked in on the scene ‘could hear Nickels making moaning noises.’ When he tried to approach her to tell her to stop what she was doing, she yelled at him to get back.
Nickels is said to have spent around seven or eight minutes masturbating on that patio, before moving to the terrace of the nearby Second Bar + Kitchen to continue pleasuring herself.

When approached by a cop, she is said to have stopped moving her arms under the table and placed them on top of it. It was then police officers noticed that Nickels was not wearing any pants.

After being arrested, cuffed, and put in the back of a cruiser, she is said to have continued masturbating.

Nickels, whose Facebook page lists her as a worker for Sonic Drive-In, has been charged with indecent exposure and is currently in Travis County Jail in lieu of $3,000 bond.

NANS Threatens To Disrupt General Elections If ASUU, ASUP Strike Continues

The National Association of Nigeria Students, NANS, has threatened to boycott and disrupt the 2019 general elections scheduled to hold in February if the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, and its Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics, ASUP, counterpart and the Federal Government fail to reach an agreement and call off the ongoing strike.

The Zone B of the association comprising tertiary institutions in the South East and South South, at a peaceful demonstration recently barricaded the Niger Bridge to register their displeasure over the lingering strike and called on the federal government to either negotiate with ASUU, or forget about the elections.

The students were seen holding placards bearing different inscriptions such as,   “ASUU/ ASUP strike, Another way to increase crime”; “ No resumption,  no election”; “We are tired of endless negotiations”; “End strike now”; “NANS Zone B wants Her Students back on campuses”; Nigerian Students have bright future; do not truncate it with strike”; “NANS Zone B says no to strike” and “Save education, end strike now”.

According to the Zone B coordinator of NANS, Comrade Okereke Godson, students could not afford to stay at home while the country holds the 2019 general elections, warning that the umbrella body of the students would chase away voters on election day if the federal government failed to reach agreement with ASUU and end the strike.

He said: “Students constitute 46 percent of the electoral strength in this country and if the federal government fails to end the strike, we see it as a deliberate attempt to rig the poll because the election cannot hold while we remain at home. Let them open our campuses or election will not hold.”

Members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), while praying for divine protection by reproaching the “devil” ahead of the 2019 elections, collapsed along with a stage during a campaign rally.

Mr. Zakariya who disclose this using his twitter handle said that the rally was held in Jega local government of Kebbi state, northwest Nigeria.

Photos: PDP Stage Collapse in Kebbi State: It was learned that the campaign rally had in attendance the governorship candidate of PDP in the state, Isah Muhammad Galaudi

He said:
“It’s true ooo, it happened here in jega local government kebbi state. There governorship candidate isah Muhammad galaudi is @bukolasaraki’s former chief of staff,” the Twitter user said.
While some sympathised, others chastised them.

INEC Excludes Zakari From Collation Of Presidential Poll Results

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has excluded Amina Zakari and other national commissioners from collation of presidential poll results.

According to The Nation newspaper, the collation of election results would be done at the collation secretariat and not the collation centre.

A source who spoke with the newspaper said: “No national commissioner is in charge of collation of presidential poll results. It is true that there is what is called collation centre but it is separate from the collation secretariat, which is responsible for the collation of results.

“No national commissioner will be appointed into the secretariat committee. So, Hajiya Amina Zakari or any national commissioner does not have anything to do with the collation of results.”

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has told vice chancellors and council chairmen of universities to stop "acting like vultures who roam the sky in search of carcasses to feast on".

Ade Adejumo who made this statement, called on top university officials to join the union in its struggle for improved tertiary education.

The union however, also denied reports that it had received the sum of N163billion from the government for the three-month-old strike to be called off.

Stop Acting Like Vultures, ASUU Tells Vice Chancellors, Others

Mr. Biodun Ogunyemi, on Saturday told newsmen that the reports that it received such amount of money was false.

he statement read: “Once again, the attention of our union has been drawn to another piece of misinformation which gives the impression that ASUU collects money from the government.

“For the umpteenth time, let it be known that our union is a patriotic organisation whose activities are driven by the principled conviction that the resources of the country can better be managed for the ultimate benefit of the Nigerian society, especially the education sector which is our immediate constituency.
“It is in the context of the above that our union calls on the vice-chancellors and council chairmen to stop behaving like vultures that wait silently by the sidelines, waiting for the game to fall only to descend on the carcass.
“They should join forces with ASUU in its struggles to attract requisite funding into our public universities, rather than working at cross purposes with us. Part of the least expected from them is to come out openly to put the record straight each time the government comes out with the deliberate falsehood that money has been released to ASUU.”

He spoke in a statement issued in Abuja by his Special Assistant on Public Communication, Phrank Shaibu, in response to the Federal Government’s warning to United States (U.S.), United Kingdom (UK) and European Union (EU) on the suspension of the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN).

The former vice president warned that anyone planning to rig the (Nigerian Election News 2019) election may as well be toying with the very foundation of the nation’s democracy.
The statement reads: “Buhari’s cabal is unhappy with the statements from the U.S., the British and the E.U. because they know that these world powers have agreed to re-route their latest and most technologically sophisticated spy satellite, including the NAOL-47 satellite, to provide comprehensive coverage over Nigeria on February 16. The photographs these satellites will deliver can not only show someone reading a newspaper but also which newspaper they are reading.”
Nigerian Election News 2019: Recall that the Federal Government, had in statement through Garba Shehu, stated: “The nation’s security forces will confront any attempt to interfere with the process by elements from outside the country”.

The PDP candidate expressed concerns over the desperation of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to rig the forthcoming elections. He advised the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the military and the police not to allow themselves to be used by those interested in turning Nigeria’s democracy on its head.
“The truth is that there is no country in the world where a president with this appalling record could ever be re-elected. Over 100 million Nigerians cannot afford even one decent meal a day, yet their president is seeking re-election.
“The world powers as well as Nigerians also have intelligence that Buhari will decisively lose the elections since the people are angry because they are hungry and have no jobs.

“There is no level of rigging that this vile government could ever do to overturn the millions of Nigerians who will turn up at the polls to vote him out. We ask our dearest young population who got a job under Buhari in the last four years to vote for Buhari.

“But all those who lost their jobs and whose relations lost their jobs and businesses to his maladministration to please come out in large numbers to elect Atiku Abubabar who is a harbinger of job creation!” We would keep updating you on happenings about Nigerian Election News 2019. Stay with us.

Smartphone makes keeping in touch with family, friends and associates easier. But staying connected means more data usage obviously

Sometimes, it could be frustrating when you open your phone and all you get is-‘you have no internet connection.’ Certain factors are responsible for this. It is important you set up limits and alerts to keep an eye on your data usage and maximize your data plans. Here are the tips

How to Stop your Mobile Data from Running Fast

*How much data do you need

Most times, you may overestimate the data you need, so use cold hard facts to make the decision on which data allotment is best for you. Log in to your carrier’s website and review your data usage over the past few months. Select a plan that is higher than the amount of data you used during this period

                                    *Set data alerts and limits

You can check your data usage on iOS devices by going to Settings > Cellular or Mobile data. These data stats do not reset each billing period automatically, so you have to remember to do it yourself. My Data Manager keeps track of your usage and even allows you to set custom alarms when you exceed a certain amount of data in a month

                                    *Use Wi-Fi wherever possible

There is a fundamental rule for saving cellular data: If there’s Wi-Fi, use it. Chances are at both home and work; you’ll have some type of Wi-Fi access to connect. Even in many public places including parks, supermarkets, department stores, public Wi-Fi is there for your use. Get in the habit of checking when you’re somewhere new, and this will lead to a substantial drop in cellular data usage

                                    * Avoid using push email

When you use push email, your device is constantly looking for new messages. *Take your maps offline Navigation apps can be a surprisingly large hog on your data. If you’re using them all the time to find specific shops, restaurants, new city, maybe you should look at downloading the area map ahead of time. If you’re an Android user, this is simple. Just boot up Google Maps, search for the area you want to download, and then tap More info, followed by Download

                                    *Change your browsing habits

It’s always better to browse the mobile version of the website on a mobile device, so avoid using the desktop versions of a site if you can. Also, despite taking up a fair amount of storage on your phone, the browser cache is actually a good thing here. By preserving your cache, you won’t have to download images from frequently visited websites every time you visit them

*Subscribe to streaming services with offline options

Videos are by far the biggest drain on your data, so if you stream a lot of YouTube content, then consider YouTube Red. In addition to the option of saving videos onto your device, you also have their music service built in. With other streaming subscriptions, you will want to check where they offer offline content too. Apps like Apple Music, Google Play Music allow you to create playlists for offline listening

                                    Chapter One

                                    The Letter

My name is Aliya. I am the only child of my parents. I turned 16 last month, two days
before my end of term examinations. I had waited so eagerly for that day to come. When I was 14,1 read a book titled 'Sweet Sixteen', which made me realise that at 16. one is no longer a child but a young adult. For as long as I can remember I  had always hated to be called a child. To me, child means the same as stupid. So, children's stuff never interested me. Instead,l found myself drawn to grown up things. I felt more comfortable relating with people who are many years older than me. My father thought this was because of my size. I am what you might describe as plus size. If you like, you could say I was plump or chubby; but never say fat. l started wearing bras at 10 and at 14, I was

                                    2

already a size 16. My father would say, “Aliya, don’t be deceived by your size, you are still a child and you should enjoy being a child. "To this‚ I would counter that I was not a child, but an adult trapped in the body of a child. He would shake his head and give my mother a long stare, which I never understood. 'Young adult' therefore, sounded like a fair compromise between being a child, as my father would insist, and being an adult, as I would insist. My mother was a nurse. My father was, well, many things. At the time I was born, he was a journalist. When I was in primary school, he was working in a Public Relations agency. He then went on to work for an international organisation that helps poor people in Africa. When I asked him what exactly his job in the organisation was, he said it was still some kind of public relations.

The very day I turned 16, I was still in school. Even if I was home,I knew better than to expect any parties. My father believed that the only thing worth celebrating was a major achievement. In his eyes, a birthday was not an achievement at all. My mother said she agreed with him. I suspected she was just

                                          3
going along With her husband. For this, I have very strong evidence in the form of several photographs I had seen of her, standing all decked up behind birthday cakes. But to be fair, that was before she met and married Mr. Bello.
Whatever the case, birthdays were not a regular event in my home. My father even hardly remembered birthdays, including his own. Mummy however, would never, ever forget. She even remembered the birthdays of children in the extended family. But there would be no parties. The

                                    4
closest to any form of celebration were the slightly more elaborate dinner and the much more elaborate prayers. This is not to suggest that my parents were some sort of boring people. Not at all. My father was actually very funny. Mummy would often joke that he should consider another career in standup comedy. We also hosted parties and attended some, mostly weddings. Birthday parties were just not our thing.

But something changed since I left home for the boarding school. My father, who never remembered birthdays, would not fail to send me greeting cards on my birthdays. I turned 12 when I was in JSS 1. The birthday card was handed over to me by the principal himself after the morning assembly. “Happy Birthday, my First Lady. Remember that only God is greater than you, ” my father had scrawled boldly across the blank space inside the card. Even though I didn't understand what he meant by “only God is greater tban you”, it made me feel very important, as if I was some kind of God's deputy.  Sometimes,l wondered why he called me First Lady since I was an only child. I didn't think you
                                    5
could have a first unless there was a second. Maybe he was hoping for a second. How much I wished I had a sister though. And maybe a brother too. But my friends told me that brothers could be very annoying. Well, that was not so diflicult to believe. I imagined having a brother like Akin in my class, who called himself the king of boys. Even though he was very smart, Akin was the most unserious human being in the whole world. He specialized in making fun of everything and playing pranks on everyone. I remembered what happened last term in the Geometry class. The mathematics teacher wrote the topic, Mensumtion on the board, but Akin read it aloud as Menstruation! Who does that? The whole class erupted in laughter. It was only the teacher, Miss Salako, who didn't find it funny. '

Important Updates you need to know about the INEC AdHoc

Candidates will be shortlisted based on the application they submitted, hence if you submit for Presiding Officer while your qualification is for Assistant Presiding Officer you will not be shortlisted.

Similarly, those who applied for the position which goes opposite to the post they applied for may not be shorlisted into the INEC Adhoc recruitment 2019.

N/B: Please note that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will never ask you to pay anything to get shortlisted. Only short-listed candidates will be contacted and invited for an Aptitude Test. Aptitude Test notifications will be sent via e-mail and SMS.
